Finally, after an hour of hiking, they emerged into a clearing and saw the most beautiful waterfall they had ever seen. The water cascaded down the rocks and into a pool below, creating a misty spray that filled the air.

The pyramids were built using massive stone blocks, and it is still a mystery how the ancient Egyptians were able to move them. The Egyptians also developed a system of writing called hieroglyphics, which used pictures to represent words and ideas.
